Of course, there was fairly extensive roadwork all along my route. The most confusing portion was, predictably via Murphy's Law, in West Virginia. I missed the correct exit and went to the next exit on the Interstate, hoping I could find my way south toward the Hospital. After driving a few minutes and seeing >no< familiar highway or street names, I called Town & Country for help. Several times. <GGG> The "directions person" there was Jane.
Because I was off trail, Jane sent me down Bogg Creek Run. Yes. Just as it sounds. <G> The road ran next to a creek, a boggy creek of course, and wound back and forth, up and down, under a mining shaft, and over a couple of one-lane bridges. It was an interesting, if unintended, tour of some beautiful West Virginia countryside.
Finally, thanks to patient Jane and her directions, I arrived at Town & Country Animal Hospital. Although I did pass it going both directions first. I entered the waiting room and was immediately welcomed by Lisa and Amy. They recognized Chastity and me immediately, putting us at ease. They were fascinated by Chastity, and thought she was a gorgeous little thing.

Dr. Radcliffe (who immediately said "call me Jim") arrived shortly. In the picture I took of him that first day, getting ready for surgery? See that square of light behind him?? I swear that is his own unique (square) halo!!. Dr. Radcliffe has greys himself, and understands performance sighthounds. His empathy and skill are evident in every move and word.
